PROVA achieves a score of 95/100 on the Gender Equality Index

At PROVA, gender equality is a priority. We are therefore proud to announce that our company has achieved a score of 95/100 on the Gender Equality Index. This index, established by public authorities, assesses pay equality across five indicators. A slight pay gap was observed in favor of men, resulting in PROVA scoring 35/40 on this indicator. All female employees returning from maternity leave during a salary increase period received a pay raise, achieving the maximum score of 20/20. The indicator for individual raises shows a slight advantage for women, thereby offsetting the pay gap, with a score of 15/15. Equality is respected in terms of promotions, with a score of 15/15. Finally, among the ten highest-paid employees, men are slightly over-represented, yet PROVA still achieved the maximum score of 10/10 on this criterion.

With this score of 95/100, PROVA demonstrates its concrete commitment to genuine professional equality and continues to strive for an increasingly equitable and inclusive work environment.

What is the Professional Equality Index?

The Professional Equality Index was established by the law of September 5, 2018 for the freedom to choose one's professional future.
It enables concerned companies to measure pay gaps between women and men and to highlight areas for improvement when these disparities are unjustified.

To do this, it assesses the level of equality between women and men on a 100-point scale based on the following criteria:
pay gap between women and men,
gap in the distribution of individual raises,
number of female employees who received a raise upon returning from maternity leave,
parity among the 10 highest remunerations,
gap in the distribution of promotions (only for companies with more than 250 employees).
Most of the data to be considered is found in the company's economic and social database (BDES).

All companies and economic and social units (UES) with at least 50 employees are required to calculate and publish their Index annually by March 1st at the latest.
