It all began as a family story. A story of passion, tradition, and boldness, driven for three generations by the same desire to innovate and build for the long term. When it first started in 1946, PROVA was a small French artisanal business. Very quickly, a conviction took hold: to stand the test of time, one must dare to take risks.

Dare to innovate, dare to think big, dare to move faster, dare to grow.

It is this vision that my father, Daniel Acat, pursued with determination. He transformed PROVA, instilled in it an international ambition, and made innovation much more than just a strategic focus: he turned it into a true driving force. As a result, the company has established itself as a leader in brown extracts and flavors, while remaining true to what has been its strength from the very beginning: a personal touch and boldness.

Year after year, PROVA has grown, evolved, and weathered the changing times without ever losing its entrepreneurial spirit. Today, after 80 years of history, PROVA has become a global player, with a worldwide presence through more than 12 subsidiaries and operations in over 70 countries.

This journey took us even further, all the way to Bangkok, where we opened our first factory outside of France in 2024. This was a key milestone that underscores our commitment to being closer to our customers, more agile, and more engaged in our markets.

But a story like ours never ends. It continues, driven by the same pioneering spirit.
